As a Collections Manager, you collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing and payment issues, ensuring efficient receivables management. You lead in process enhancement, documentation, and reporting to optimize company-wide resources. In this role, you empower individuals to drive efficiencies and improvements, supporting various teams in accounts receivable, collections, and payment application. You play a pivotal role in LogicMonitor's growth acceleration by streamlining processes and maximizing results. As a Collections Manager, you'll create, own, and drive goals, gaining invaluable experience working alongside a dynamic team. 

This position reports to the Senior Revenue Accounting Manager.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to achieve company DSO goals.
  • Negotiate and establish payment arrangements with customers, while solving problems efficiently.
  • Research and resolve account receivable issues, collaborating with both customers and internal teams.
  • Provide training and ongoing support for the Shared Services team in collection outreach, payment application, and customer inquiries.
  • Take ownership of month-end reporting on AR activities, including AR Aging with updated collections notes and proposed write-offs.
  • Monitor internal and external communication channels to address inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to escalate delinquent accounts appropriately and forecast churn related to non-payment.
  • Partner with Sales and Deal Desk to assess creditworthiness of prospective customers.
  • Analyze payment trends to assist in monthly cash and collections forecasting.
  • Utilize customer payment portals (Ariba, Coupa, Bill.com) to ensure timely payments.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • 10+ years of relevant Finance and/or Collections experience
  • Proficiency with finance operations applications such as Zuora, Zendesk, SFDC, Looker, or similar
  • Strong customer service skills with an empathetic and collaborative approach
  • Ability to work independently, handle time-sensitive requests, and take ownership in a fast-growing business environment
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning and innovation.

LogicMonitor believes in pay transparency, so we provide the base salary ranges for all of our jobs in the United States. Actual base salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications. As part of our holistic compensation philosophy, LogicMonitor also offers many competitive elements in our total compensation package for US employees, such as bonus or commission compensation in addition to the base pay, an equity program for all full time employees, 401K matching, and other rewards. 

Base Salary Range$63,840—$86,835 USD
