Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Data Engineer II at our facility in Boston, Massachusetts, to work with multiple data storage systems and warehouses (Snowflake, Vertica, Oracle, etc.), design and implement training and prediction pipelines for ML/AI solutions.

What You’ll Do: 

• Identify optimal solutions to efficiently scale the data flow agnostic of on-prem or cloud.
• Identify critical KPIs to measure performance and develop programs targeting improvement of those KPIs.
• Collaborate and work closely with application engineers and data scientists on both functional and technical front.
• Telecommuting permitted.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 5 years of experience.
• Will accept a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
• Full term of experience must include: work with data warehouse and support delivery of quality data outputs;
• proficiency in SQL, Java and Python;
• work with many different database types including SQL Server, Snowflakes;
• integrate data between operational databases;
• knowledge of data integration and familiarity with common data integration challenges like between different technology stacks;
• enable infrastructure automation for provisioning, compliance, and management of any cloud and service;
• maintain platform, including user management and audit, resource utilization, and alerts monitoring;
• data visualization tools, including Tableau, etc.;
• proficiency in databases, including AWS RedShift, AWS S3, Airflow, MySQL, MongoDS;
• Python DS packages: pandas, sklearn, numpy; and
• AWS ecosystem.
