About the team

You will sit in the Paid Social channel team who themselves sit in the wider Performance Marketing team here at Deliveroo. The team's main focus is driving growth across all sides of our business. Growth could be so many things for this team, for example; getting a consumer to give us a try for the first time, driving customer loyalty, finding new riders for the business or encouraging users to sign up to Plus (our loyalty subscription).

As a channel, we are a vibrant function, collaborating with our Creative Studio, Data Science and Marketing Technology teams to deliver world-class digital campaigns across 10 markets globally. As the Channel Assistant you will report into a Channel Lead who you will work with to grow the channel.

Working within this team allows you to work under our hybrid working model - between London HQ and home

About the role

We're looking for a commercially minded, data-driven "Digital Marketing Specialist". You will be focused solely on Paid Social strategy & activation but all marketing channels ensure plans are delivered on time and projects are managed. Alongside the channel owner, you will grow the paid social channel across our live markets and finding smart new ways to market to our consumers.

What you'll do

  • Platform Management - Managing platform activation for all our relevant partners, Smartly, Meta, Tik Tok, Snapchat & Pinterest across all of our product lines (eg. consumer / rider)
  • Plan Forecasting - Working with the planning team to forecast audience sizes and the performance of a campaign based on their objective.
  • Strategy Support - Work with senior members of the team to help create and implement Paid Social strategy.
  • Basic Reporting - Running performance reports to understand weekly trends and campaign successes
  • Internal Stakeholder Management - Working with the channel lead to update internal stakeholders on projects that we are running for them. (eg. Local Market Teams & Product Teams)
  • Review Campaigns - Run "Post Campaign Analysis" on each campaign to gain learnings

DS Support - Work with data science teams to better understand the impact of campaigns

Requirements

  • Expertise in advertising on Meta platforms,
  • Track record in launching consumer-facing campaigns within a high-growth D2C brand
  • Experience optimising campaigns for performance goals and recommending the best practices.
  • Degree-level education or relevant work experience
  • Basic problem-solving, structuring arguments well and finding solutions
  • Good stakeholder management, should be comfortable with regularly sharing updates and reports to key stakeholders
  • Basic quantitative analytical skills, should be able to run basic reporting and set up tests/experiments.
  • Commercial mindset
  • An eagerness to grow within an organisation

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience with TikTok conversion products
  • Experience with Smartly.io
