The Opportunity:

We are looking for a passionateindividual to lead the Insights & Analytics Product Group within UserTesting’s Product organization. In this role, you’ll be responsible for product strategy and execution of one of the most important parts of our product vision.  The Insights and Analytics group owns the customer facing functionality and capabilities that allow our customers to easily see the results of their tests.  This includes moving beyond data and charts to implementing new ML/AI based capabilities that enable faster time from analysis to recommendation.  In addition, UserTesting is embedding an Insights Hub inside the Experience Research platform and this role owns the innovation, creativity and differentiation for that future offering.  

The ideal candidate is passionate about product strategy as well as developing high-performing teams while able to work closely with engineering leaders and cross-functionally. Experience hiring and developing outstanding individual contributor PMs along with a proven ability to align multiple strategic domains under an overarching product vision and strategy are critical to successful leadership in this role. 

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Strategy Definition- You will be responsible for defining and building upon the strategy for executing against our overarching product vision within the product domains you manage as well as helping the product managers on your team set vision and strategy within their respective areas of responsibility
  • Roadmap Planning - Gathering and analyzing user feedback to prioritize goals and translate strategy into delivery sequencing and release targets. 
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex data sets and understand the implications of various insights.
  • Release Management - Collaborating with Product Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and other departments to deliver successful market releases that excite customers and prospects
  • Team Leadership and Management - As a people manager, you’ll be responsible for hiring and developing the individual contributors on your team to build a-performing team and culture of excellence in Product Management
  • Go-to-Market and Field Support - Assisting the Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Renewals, and other functions to provide product expertise in support of their programs, including product pricing and packaging 

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to define a compelling long-term product vision, focused on digital analytics and insights, and translate into a strategic plan for realization of goals across multiple product domains and teams
  • Familiarity with leading and delivering insight creation workflows, while leveraging AI and machine learning principles.
  • A “get stuff done” mentality that enjoys rolling up their sleeves and working collaboratively with their team, engineering partners and design counterparts. 
  • A focus on continuous improvement by assessing what’s working, identifying areas for increased efficiency or productivity, and having the personal initiative to lead progress. 
  • Experience managing product managers in SaaS companies and demonstrated success developing junior team members into outstanding contributors
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify key metrics and communicate results and implications to executive stakeholders

  • Product led growth strategies
  • Managing platforms partnerships 
  • Business strategy, general management
  • Rolling-out products across multiples countries and languages
  • Working in a highly distributed organization
