Overview: The Director of Solutions Consulting will oversee the North American Solutions Consulting team, focusing on our largest and most strategic accounts alongside new business ventures. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Solutions, this role involves close collaboration with Sales Executives, Account Managers, and Professional Services staff to drive the achievement of revenue targets in the region. This position requires strategic vision, exceptional leadership, and deep technical expertise.

You will: 

  • Strategic Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of Solution Consultants in the delivery of high-quality value-driven consultations and demonstrations across various platforms such as Conversational Cloud and Conversational AI.  Support and lead strategic deal discovery, ideation, and education programs across the region.  
  • Solution Development: Architect innovative, high-level solutions that demonstrate how our and partner's products integrate into customer infrastructures, enhancing their business processes and customer engagement strategies.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, Partner Relations, and others, to leverage technical and industry expertise throughout the organization.
  • Client Engagement: Directly interact with both existing and prospective customers (influencers, economic buyers, and executive leaders)  to support and independently manage the sales discovery and education process, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with sales teams to develop strategies for winning opportunities, including renewals and upsells, and actively participate in crafting responses to RFPs and other proposals.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Regularly educate and update Sales and Delivery teams on new and existing product offerings, conducting training sessions as necessary.
  • Event Participation: Represent the company at customer conferences, running demo stations, or speaking at scheduled events to showcase our technology and solutions.

You have:

  • Experience: At least 8 years in Solution Consulting or Pre-Sales Engineering, with a proven track record in closing large enterprise deals. Experience in product management and partner sales or a similar role is considered a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of web technologies, Conversational AI, cloud infrastructure, and development workflows. Proficiency in editing HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, and familiarity with API concepts and Agile methodologies. Certifications in AI and cloud platforms like GCP or AWS are advantageous.
  • Commercial acumen: A proven track record on the ability to understand business and technology goals and how to create value for customers
  • Education: BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics. Additional certifications or self-study in related technologies are desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional public speaking and written communication abilities. Creative thinking and strategic planning capabilities in complex sales environments.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 20%-40% to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in martech, mobile apps, contact centers, or related fields.
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in using modern technology tools and platforms.

Benefits: 

The salary range for this role will be between USD 176,000 to $USD 200,000 plus commission. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to your location, skills, experience, education, and/or professional certifications. During the phone screening, your recruiter will provide the location-specific salary range for this role.
