Head of Sales | Remote US | $260k+ OTE ($130k-$160k base + $130k (uncapped)) + Equity

We are looking for a Head of Sales to work with our sales team of 7 (AEs, Sales Ops, and Event Mktg Manager), to iterate & run the already defined go-to-market strategy. You will be reporting into Jo, our CEO and joining our leadership team with Ramon (Head of Ops), Morten (Head of FP&A), and Emily (Director of Product), and Mackenzie (Director of Customer Success). 

You and your team of 7 will accelerate growth for the next 3-4 years with new customer acquisitions.

What you will be doing

Responsibilities

  • Drive a high performance, high accountability, data-driven, evidence-based culture to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Design, implement, and maintain, effective sales processes, methodologies, and protocols.
  • Provide strong coaching and mentoring through an understanding of the sales, our go to market strategy, and our sales methodology; This includes coaching on territory planning (including prospecting methods & prioritization) all the way through deal support across each stage of the sales cycle
  • Ride shotgun with the sales team on strategic deals to coach / support the team to success
  • As a member of the Leadership Team, you will collaborate to refine the value drivers for our clients, which will define the strategy and go to market model
  • Conduct weekly pipeline forecast meetings with your team and report to leadership using Hubspot - our CRM
  • Define sales strategies to build and develop pipeline based on the coverage needed
  • Develop and own Key Performance Indicators for the sales team
  • Organize the events/conference Calendar 
  • As we grow, attract, hire, and retain high achieving Sales Reps in all roles and via all channels available (internal, external, self)

To be effective in this role, you

  • 5+ years experience leading a sales team
  • Ideally from a start-up / scale up background, with an experience of an exit
  • A true passion for sales & people - we want leaders who love what they do and inspire their team
  • Strong experience in SaaS sales and closing new enterprise business
  • Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, tenacious team player
  • Data-driven, evidence-based, non-dogmatic, and transparent decision-maker
  • Bonus: experience selling SaaS to K12
