As a Manager, Project Management, you will help us take our business to the next level of scale and excellence in delivery and governance. You will have an abundant opportunity to meaningfully impact the growth of our business by developing and growing a high-performance team of project associates responsible for delivery management.

This role will be based remotely in eastern or central time zones of the United States.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a services delivery leader possessing a growth mindset and excellent communication skills.

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in project and/or delivery management; university degree preferred
  • Successful track record leading, managing and growing the team
  • Extensive experience in collaborating with business owners to determine needs for addressing their growth and potential
  • Demonstrated ability to manage delivery escalations, focused on increasing customer and internal stakeholder satisfaction
  • Considerable experience with relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skills with an appreciation for rigor and objectivity
  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale customers, project management methodologies and deployment/operational considerations
  • At ease operating in a dynamic, fast growing team, able to be self-sufficient with a can-do attitude and ready to make yourself accountable
Position Expectations

As a team leader within the MongoDB Professional Services organization, you will:

  • Be responsible for successful execution of the territory project portfolio with the focus on customer success and MongoDB growth
  • Be responsible for continuous professional development of a geographically distributed project delivery team, building ever-improving professional services professionals
  • Set up individual, sustainable development plans based on the skills assessment
  • Collaborate with other functions across the company, contribute to global Professional Services business strategies, development and execution
  • Maintain excellent CSAT
  • Be willing to  "roll-up sleeves" and contribute to execution and improvements across the business as needed
  • Aggressively maintain a robust recruiting pipeline, attracting the highest quality talent in the industry to support excellence and rapid growth

  • Growing and maintaining required delivery capacity and utilization for delivery teams
  • Growing and maintaining required revenue targets for your delivery business owners
  • On-target hiring & on-time ramping of top quality talent for your region
  • Continuously cultivate the breadth and depth of our MongoDB values
  • Contribute to the growth and evolution of the capability of MongoDB Professional Services
  • Responsible for accelerating consumption of the project backlog 
  • Continuously reviewing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and making required improvements

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$133,000—$261,000 USD
