The People Experience Communications and Talent Brand Director sits within the People Experience function and is an important member of the People Experience Communications Team. You will have global responsibilities across Internal Communications and Talent Brand functions. You will be a necessary partner to Crunchyroll leadership and many team members across the business. We need a leader with a rich blend of experiences, across a range of companies at varied stages of growth; a leader who knows what great is (from an employee experience perspective) in a scaled organization.

You will...

  • Delegate and manage internal communications and employer brand activities, investing in team member development.
  • Define and work on a consistent and engaging internal communications strategy in partnership with the leadership team.
  • Build an external employer brand that is well-positioned to attract values-aligned talent to the company.
  • Utilize your creative vision to ensure that company projects are communicated to employees with consistent voice/tone.
  • Make use of multiple delivery mediums (including visually rich, digital modes of delivery) to maximize engagement and uptake of messaging.
  • Determine the necessary internal knowledge management infrastructure and workflows required to support an employee intranet and other employee communications.
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of communications channels (i.e. internal resource sites, company all staff meetings, email, internal social channels).
  • Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form.
  • Ensure internal messages are consistent and connected across all mediums and for different departments within the company.
  • Ensure internal messages are consistent and timed relative to external messages, where applicable.

In the role of People Experience Communications and Talent Brand Director, you will report to the VP, People Experience Communications.

About You

  • You have 15+ years experience working across a diverse portfolio of companies and industries, across at least three of these - communications, marketing, employer brand, recruitment marketing. 
  • You have experience applying creative approaches to solve brand and communication challenges in engaging ways.
  • You have experience creating employer brand or recruitment marketing content for social media, digital and physical channels and events.
  • You can lead from within a team, delegating and assigning work and collectively owning team outcomes. You combine the need to empower a team with the understanding that delegation is relative to capability to ensure success. 
  • You love environments where there is a high-degree of ambiguity and things are prone to rapid change.
  • You have experience handling confidential information; you show good judgment, honesty, integrity, and trust-building behaviors in all dealings.
  • You have an ability to fly high (focused on strategy) or low (focused on execution).
