ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Project Manager helps lead a small team to create powerful and impactful communications across East European markets including Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Macedonia, delivering best practice and speed to market. The role delivers an exceptional level of client service delivery and driving efficiency through sharing best practice and assets between markets and in the region, as well as having an active role in new business opportunities to lead growth.

The Project Manager is the escalation point in the assigned markets and builds strong relationships with our client at all levels, becoming a trusted and valued advisor.  

 

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reporting to the Central European Cluster Market Account Director in Bucharest, the Project Manager helps oversee a small team of creatives, including Design, Motion and Copywriting, with support from both OLIVER’s central HUB (UK) and our global production HUBs. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • A good understanding of the business; their needs, expectations and requirements in order to provide the best service and solution through close partnership and true collaboration with the client. 
  • Effective project management through the full lifecycle using project governance as directed by the client – escalating issues and proactively resolving problems, managing project resource and spend and making critical decisions. 
  • Own the daily project oversight, reviews, 121s, weekly check-ins, as well as execution of campaigns, run rates and client satisfaction through catchups with resources/ job owners and the weekly account management WIP. 
  • The ability to drive and motivate a team and project through to successful completion. 
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive. 
  • Run account meetings and take responsibility for service levels and KPIs. 
  • Work closely with clients and ensure the team deliver strong concepts from initial briefing. 
  • Support client growth. 
  • A strong passion for social, health and pharmaceutical brands. 
  • Work across multiple creative formats produced for brands/ products activated across in-market channels. 
  • Well-spoken in English to enable global relationships.  

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • The ability to manage both individual and project workloads and identifying challenges and risks within them, along with the mitigation and solution  
  • Executional rigour, competent in multitasking and great organisational skills 
  • The ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audience 
  • Competent in presenting and communicating ideas to clients 
  • The ability to clearly articulate your ideas  
  • Experience in FMCG / health and pharmaceutical sectors. 
  • Experience working with multiple brands/ products.
  • Experience with MS Office suite: Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel
  • Able to demonstrate experience activating campaigns across East European markets (or 1-2 of these) is beneficial.
  • 3+  years of relevant experience in:
    • Digital
    • Social
    • Motion Projects
    • Web Projects
    • Production
