As an AKQA Senior Designer, you will play an essential role in the strategy, conception and design of beautiful ideas, products and services. You will bring exceptional creative thought, craft and motion, developing and delivering projects from brief to end user.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Provide innovative visual communication solutions across various mediums, including motion design, interaction design, and digital touchpoints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm ideas, create storyboards, and deliver compelling animations.
• Integrate emerging animation techniques into projects, ensuring a high level of creativity and visual impact.
• Maintain and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and elevate client brands.
• Support UX thinking, contributing to the enhancement of global platforms and digital experiences.
• Deliver high-quality work to clients on time, consistently exceeding AKQA standards for creative excellence.
• Act as a key liaison between internal teams and clients, effectively communicating rationale and creative decisions.
• Embrace challenges, inspire innovative thinking, and drive continuous improvement within the team.
• Manage project deliverables, ensuring accountability and adherence to quality standards.
• Participate in pitches and proposals, presenting ideas and creative concepts to clients and peers.
• Execute world-class digital communications and interface designs across various platforms.

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

• Proficient in motion design tools such as After Effects and Figma.
• Strong understanding of timing in motion and a fundamental grasp of design principles.
• Thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
• Demonstrates a relentless drive to learn and stays abreast of emerging technologies and design techniques.
• Conceptual and collaborative thinker, able to contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative discussions.
• Passionate about improving work quality and pushing boundaries in motion design and interaction.
• Comfortable presenting ideas and creative concepts to clients and peers.
• Degree in Design, Interaction Design, Visual Studies, or related field preferred.
• Solid grasp of branding principles and the ability to create or refresh distinct brand identities.
• Experience across various design formats and platforms, including logos, apps, and websites.
• Understanding of design systems, processes, and front-end implementation.
• Strong design fundamentals, including typography, illustration, and animation.
