We, at ThoughtSpot, are looking for a Senior Member of Technical Staff(Fullstack). You will be responsible for the core visualizations platform inside of ThoughtSpot. It powers the creation and interaction with visualizations on both answer pages and interactive Liveboards for the Analyst User, Business User, and also the Developer User personas, who can choose to customize the experience on the ThoughtSpot application. You’ll manage a team that works closely on both backend(metadata) and frontend(experience) areas to power the engine.

You will work on designing and developing the next generation of search & visual analytics applications & experiences. We have a rapidly expanding list of happy customers who love our product and we're growing to serve even more.

What You'll Do: 

• Build a highly customizable, extensible & smart data visualization platform
• Partner with both product and cross-functional teams to build, scale, and implement elegant Application Infrastructure solutions that scale and are built with enterprise-class operational excellence
• Are obsessed with customer experience and uncompromising engineering standards
• Work with diverse, cross-functional teams of designers, UX researchers, engineers, product managers in a fast, collaborative process

What You'll Bring: 

• 5+ years of experience crafting world-class experience designing and deploying enterprise-grade solutions. Experience leading engineering teams with e2e full stack ownership
• Strong coding skills with 6+ years of experience in modern languages such Java and frontend application technologies and experience with modern JavaScript framework/libraries - Browser fundamentals, HTML5/CSS3/Javascript, React, Angular, Typescript, GraphQL, styled-components, and jest.
• Experience with Core Java & J2EE technologies, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Web Services (SOAP / REST), ESB & XML.
• Good knowledge of OOPS concepts, Hibernate and Spring version 3.x 1, Spring Dependency Injection (IOC, MVC, JDBC, JMS, etc.)
• Must have a deep knowledge in any of the database like Oracle, MySql etc.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams and infrastructure, preferably in a high release velocity/startup environment, is a plus
• You love building and leading exceptional teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You have a strong bias for action and being resourceful
• You are obsessed with the customer experience and uncompromising engineering standards.
• Bring amazing problem-solving skills and an ability to identify, quantify, debug, and remove bottlenecks and functional issues
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written, and an interest in working with a diverse set of peers and customers
