Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Software Engineer II at our facility in Plantation, Florida, to own the design and build of production-ready code enforcing CI/CD processes to ensure speed and quality.

What You’ll Do: 

• Work across the full stack of UI, microservice based backend, data processing and machine learning, all while solving complex business problems.
• Design, build, deploy and scale major platform components and microservices.
• Adhere to enterprise design and coding standards.
• Build a culture of innovation through rapid prototyping and continuous delivery to production.
• Actively participate in scrum ceremonies such as grooming, planning, demos and retros.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers to deliver the best quality code through design and code reviews.
• Telecommuting permitted.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field, and 4 years of experience.
• Will accept a Master’s degree and 2 years of experience.
• Experience must include 2 years in the following: Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Data ecosystem;
• modern SQL/NoSQL databases;
• understanding of algorithms and data structures;
• development of high-performance systems;
• experience in frontend technologies such as React, Angular or TypeScript;
• working with GCP and/or AWS;
• Kubernetes;
• Node.js;
• data processing pipelines; and
• developing software for the medical industry.
