The Sr. Program Manager, Operations Planning is responsible for coordinating the tactical initiatives required for effectively steering the FC Operations Team to achieve its short- and long-term strategic goals. This leader will report directly to the Vice-President, FC Operations and coordinate with the leaders of each region and support team on the planning and implementation of programs across the FC network.  They will be required to provide both weekly and monthly updates on progress to business goals, key initiatives, and use their business insight to assess areas of risk and opportunities for the fc operations leadership team. This role will help develop and track to the strategic direction and roadmap for the entire fc operations team and require a large scope of knowledge, including fulfillment, supply chain, logistics, continuous improvement, tech, safety, transportation, and procurement. This leader will be capable of dealing with ambiguity and facilitating effective change management to move the business forward.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the Chewy Operations organization goals and initiative planning and tracking cadences
  • Capture all new initiatives and business goals through an intake process
  • Manage the portfolio of ongoing Operations Team projects to assess project priorities, sequencing, and delivery timelines
  • Provide project updates and communications directly to Senior Leaders and C-suite members
  • Develop business documents, formal communications, and presentations related to on-going goals and initiatives
  • Partner with business leaders to determine success measures for projects, measurement strategies, and the ongoing communication of project ROI
  • Must be flexible, have dynamic and innovative mindset with strong emphasis on safety, team member engagement, customer experience, and frugality
  • Lead the identification of trends, factors and KPI’s with the objective of reducing variable/fixed fulfillment cost per unit and transportation costs for the business
  • Capture notes and actions for meeting cadences to ensure completion
  •  Ability to travel frequently to different sites throughout US

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (Technical, Business, Management)
  • 5+ supplychain/e-commerce
  • 2+ years in program/project management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills that allow for effective communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management skills and experience
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, vlookup, Macros, Data Manipulation, Formulas etc.)
  • A proven track record of driving change and delivering results
